Cornerstone utilizes the following frameworks in our approach with residents:
-
Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI): “TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. While the intervention is based on years of attachment, sensory processing, and neuroscience research, the heartbeat of TBRI® is connection.”
-
Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC): ARC is a framework of intervention for youth who have experienced multiple or prolonged events of traumatic stress. It identifies three core domains that are frequently impacted among traumatized youth, which include Attachment, Regulation, and Competency. ARC provides a theoretical framework, core principles of intervention, and a guiding structure for providers.
